Welcome to the official website of Mandy Shepherd.

We hope you will enjoy the portfolio of drawings and paintings of different subjects that embrace more than 30 years of working in Wildlife and latterly with the Military. Her Gallery of work also includes many other images that have been a source of inspiration throughout her career.

Her early work and exhibitions were dominated by Wildlife and a commitment to conservation and it was this, in 1996, that took her 8,000 miles from home to the Falkland Islands to write and illustrate her first book 'The Falkland Islands an Artist's portfolio'.

This in turn opened a new world and direction into the world of the Military. In the last twenty years Mandy has travelled to Bosnia, Kosovo, Brunei, Oman, and Iraq on commission, painting aircraft, ships old and new, and the working life of military personnel.

She has also been involved in recording recent military history of active service in both Iraq and Afghanistan for all three services.

When not on commission Mandy operates as a guide taking wildlife tours mostly to Africa in support of Elephant conservation for DSWF and also to other areas of the world including the South Atlantic and Antarctica.

These trips additionally provide an excellent opportunity to research new ideas and pursue her work to a new level. more>>

Please support this epic adventure raising money for such an important cause! D-Day June 25th !!

My wonderful friend Polly Vacher plans to take her two donkeys, Wizard and Muffin, on a month long, 200 mile adventure from South Oxfordshire to North Wales to raise money for the MS Society. Polly's nephew has MS. She departs for Wales June 25th ….in just six weeks time!!!

Donkathon’ is the latest idea from one of the world’s top female pilots, and serial fundraiser.

Polly has come up with this inspired idea and the journey is expected to take four to five weeks, covering a maximum of 10 miles on travelling days. Polly is encouraging people to get involved with the journey, particularly those with MS who may wish to ride along for a day, and anyone who might like to help in some way.

I want to do as much as I can to support Polly so I have donated a painting of the donkeys to be raffled at the end of the journey. Each signed print of this limited edition run has a number – one of those numbers will win the original painting.

For very personal reasons MS is one of my top charities so I feel passionate to support Polly and help make this a
phenominal success! If you would like to buy a print and enter the raffle please go to the facebook page or send me a message, if you would simply like to support the charity without buying a print that would be more than generous. The price of each print is £25.00.

Please help Polly, Wizard and Muffin and this amazing Donkathan. Thank you THANK YOU so much. Mandy
